About East Memphis

East Memphis is known for the commercial and residential powerhouse, thriving businesses, tall buildings and large homes. The biggest churches are the Christ Church United Methodist with about 6,000 members, the St. Louis Catholic Church with approximately 5,000 members and the Second Presbyterian Church which brings in more than 4,800 members. Religious schools are also prominent in the East Memphis area.

Whether you are looking for an expensive and fancy dining experience or an inexpensive and fun-filled night out, you can find a perfect fit in this area. Also, don?t miss out on the famous Corky?s Barbecue. For night time entertainment, including various bars and nightclubs, the Highland Strip is quite a popular area.
