Description
The Frayser Neighborhood Council (FNC) is an organization which represents the interests of stakeholders (people that live, work, worship or own property) in the North Memphis community of Frayser. FNC serves as a neighborhood based organization that advises government, nonprofit organizations and other community based entities on the delivery of services to the people of Frayser. The FNC is a membership organization open to all Frayser stakeholders. The FNC is lead by a board of directors composed of Frayser stakeholders that were elected during a community wide election. The Frayser Neighborhood Council serves the community of Frayser which the FNC defines as all land within the 38127 zip code located inside of the city of Memphis, Tennessee.
The mission of the Frayser Neighborhood Council is to:
provide an open forum in which stakeholders may discuss and resolve community issues
advocate for a good quality of life throughout Frayser
monitor the delivery of government, nonprofit and other community services within Frayser
