Description
Founded by nine young women on October 15, 1898 Zeta Tau Alpha has since grown into the second largest sorority in the National Panhellenic Conference. Throughout the years Zeta Tau Alpha at Christian Brothers University has striven to uphold the traditions and values set in place by the nine founders. For its members ZTA is a home away from home and a place to find true sisterhood. ZTA is a close-knit group of women who share similar values and beliefs and support each other through highs and lows that life brings.
Sisterhood is not the only thing important to Zeta Tau Alpha however, in 1992, ZTA adopted Breast Cancer Education and Awareness as their national philanthropy. THINK-PINK!® is a registered trademark of Zeta Tau Alpha. The ladies of ZTA can be seen helping at National Football League games, and participating in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks across the nation during the Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October. CBU Zeta Tau Alpha supports the national philanthropy through events such as Big Man on Campus, Think Pink Week, and various Pink Out games.
