This 8-acre park on the east end of Beale Street was established in 1899 in honor of Memphis' first African American millionaire, Robert Church. This park is located in the Beale Street National Historic Register and is equipped with a playground and four pavilions.
The park has been the location for Africa in April Festival for more than 20 years.
