Old Whitten Tavern has been named such since August '10. Previously we were Goodtime Charlie's (since '81). Charlie Grisham opened Goodtime Charlie's and had a simple pizza... the Charlie's Special. His recipe for success was in that pizza and a simple beer selection and a handfull of servers that made everyone feel right at home.
In August of '07 Ronnie & Bonnie Coletta purchased the shotgun bar on a hope and a prayer. Surviving 3 years on Sycamore View the business then moved to Old Whitten Road and became OWT. Since then the bar has soared and been recognized in publications and awarded Best Bar Food awards for their culinary selections. OWT is more than just a good pizza.
Come on OWT for food, drinks and fun... its a family thing!
